Detox ad: the image of a person meditating, brings about thoughts of peace and the serenity of mind. and when someone meditates, he/she throws away worries, anxieties and bad nerves. the designer associates this calm with the after effects of detoxification, with the "equations" (worries= toxins in body), (meditating person= detoxifying person). and who doesn't want fast effects? 5 days, its less den a week! this also attracts attention frm adults as most of them are working and have not much time for these kind of things.
Xando ad: they used Fann Wong! lots of girls would do practically anything to be like our pretty pretty actress who actually made it to hollywood. she's slim, confident, and most of all, pretty. ok, that was the main part of the ad. but, as seen, some thinking were also involved. by appealing to our glutton self, showing that we can eat as much as we want and not get fat. PLUS stay as slim as Fann. its target audience is most probably girls who are more concerned about their size, girls who LOVE TO EAT like me and Fann supporters. age group estimated to be around 16-25.
